Searching the archives, I found that this is a intermittent problem with the Kyocera SmartPhone, which I have.
I did a soft reset on the phone and that seemed to correct the problem.

In my opinion this is the Best way for archiving email. I have tried many
others, and the features in the Crevier package are great. With over 3000
messages archived I hope we will be able to use this natively in OS X when
Entourage X is released.

Sounds more like disk problems than file structure. Try Disk Warrior to
relieve your aches and pains. My identities folder is around 160 MB and I
back up to a Fire Wire drive takes about 20 to 30 seconds.

Try setting your speed down to 9600 that's what I use and it works fine.
Also make sure that the "Entourage Conduit Support" is in the Conduits
folder along with the "Entourage Conduit"

No one is trying to "misquote information" on this list, just trying to
