In case you weren't physically present (although present in mind and spirit)
when I announced it, I will be quitting my job on the 24th. After two weeks
in CA and two weeks of being a slacker, I will become an even bigger slacker
by attending UC Berkley North (University of Oregon).

For starters, let us know the distribution, kernel version, lpr or lprng
and version.
Next, look in the logs, which you might find under /var/spool/lpd/ or
/var/log/ and share with us anything that looks helpful.
