I am landing in Pisa at 7:55 on Monday morning. What's the best way to get
to the conference from there?

Hi Joe,
There's a railway station at the airport that'll take you into Pisa
from where you'll be able to grab a train directly to the centre of
Florence. The conference hotel is 15-20 minutes walk from there (I
walk fast). ;-)
I'm doing exactly this
Alternatively there is a shuttle bus from the airport to the Firenze
SMN station [1]. From there you could either walk or take a bus. I
will probably try line 23A tomorrow and jump off at ZECCA VECCHIA.
Curious how this will work out this year :-)
