Yes, it is good that EVs are becoming commonplace. The last couple years
people have mainly gathered around the Teslas at E day and other EVents, not
only because they are a nice vehicle, but because of the hype about them.
I never was a very active EVangelist, my primary motivation was to
pect.

You think? :-\
Still, at $370k it's probably about a third of the value (parts and labor)
in most of the one-off student-built solar racers, if memory about them
serves. The
First time one-offs always cost big.
I think this an exciting peek into the potential future. I can't afford one
now, but let's see what can happen in 10 years, and after it gets put on a
production line, and then produced in quantity.

Well, there's a lot of good to say about plywood. It's non conductive,
extremely strong, flexible, won't corrode, won't melt, easy to work
with, relatively light. It burns and rots are it's two drawbacks. You
might not have a rot problem any more since, I think, you are moving

I had read over a month ago that the 90kWh pack was to be offered. But I feel
I have to do a balancing act of how much I post of one brand over another (I
do not want evdl-member complaints that I am pro-Tesla, or this/that brand
over another). So, I do not post 'all' little details on each brand

If the Tesla owners encountered were actually snobs, wearing designer
clothes, Rolex watches, with recently styled hair and you were in what
you wear to work on your EV and no bling, perhaps you were socially
unacceptable to them. Some people have rather shallow standards,
probably would not
Hahahaha,
I definitely have a "blue collar" EV, it being an old light duty pickup truck

I believe the answer will be solved when someone can profit. Once they are
charging for electricity then they will tow even the EV if it's done charging
and still occupying the space. Like parking meters. The other solution is to
put them at filling stations with the gas pumps so you can shop
