I actually know quite a few people that do like the smell of gas as well
David! The easiest way to cure that is to take a teaspoon of any petrol
fuel, have them put it in their mouth and spit it out. They get to enjoy
hours of tasting that awful dino juice that mutes all other
flavors/smells.
I think it was in a Larry Niven story once I read of someone in the
future assembling a lawn mower to bring back the experience. Folks
around them beat it to smithereens with sticks.
