EVs were used to deliver milk for decades. The milkmen made their rounds in
the early morning

Last time I was in England, they were all electric. They crept silently

I went back to having milk delivered, in reusable glass bottles,
several months ago. I'm with Milk & More as mentioned in the article.
All the deliveries are via diesel vehicles.
Very few distributors still have their original floats. The rounds
were nearly all gradually sold off as franchises,
