Is Rich Rudman still plying his Manzanita trade out that way? IIRC a decade
or so ago, he did some work on an enhanced Prius, "Piprius" I think he
called it for "Plug In Prius." Maybe he could help.

Do you have info on the dc-dc converter?
I have taken a non working Enginer plug in unit apart when it failed after
many years of use by previous owner and the dc-dc is likely good, as the
battery failed.
You can have it for a small amount, it is essentially a 48v to 200v boost
converter.
