Hi Aaron,
I was thinking for the Maps demo at your talk on friday (
http://bostonworldploneday.eventbrite.com/), you could use Jarn's Map
project (http://plone.org/products/maps) make a Google Map of all the WPD
locations (http://www.openplans.org/projects/plone-marketing/world-plone-day

No apologies necessary, Howard. As a statistician, I stumbled upon your site

Nate,
One other thing - I'm on (k)ubuntu and don't think flash on linux
supports allowing access to your camera. Any thoughts on getting this
working?

No, he asks you to add it to his reddit account. I'm not sure how reddit
works, do you know? I added a "link" to World Plone Day but I think it has
to be clicked on and moved up??
Here is my reddit url

Great, Donna. We should keep track of where we've posted, both to vote up
posted items and to have a plan for next time.
Maybe we can create a page on openplans? Ok, I've already done that:

Still wondering who has access to edit that area

I'll try to do this today. There are some grammar and spelling errors in the
FAQ that need a quick cleanup.
I'm also posting wherever I can. I added World Plone Day to reddit (for Joel
on Software) we will see where that goes.

I'm doing what I can to promote WPD online, but it's a lot for one person to
do mostly. I'm working on a new post I want to submit to sites that cater
more to the OS crowd, but I need to know where to submit to. Can someone put
together a list?
Thanks,
Gerry

Graham,
Thanks for all the suggested options--they're all good ones. As you point
out, it would be nice if there was sort of one-stop shopping for all this.

Hi,
FYI, we're sending in a few minutes an emailing on the objectis.org
emails, in order to promote the WPD page on plone.org and the Paris
event.
Hope this will help :)
Cheers,

Guys, great to hear what you are doing. I'd like to keep interest in WPD by
posting more what is going on in various places, especially live streams
that others can tap into.
I encourage you to post info to Plone Planet, or at least to the mailing
list I just set up for all WPD local organizers, s
