this, should it?

contains mostly characters which have to be encoded. The RFC encourages
to do so.
Besides: Are there really non-MIME MUAs out there? mail is one I can
think of - but people using mail to regularly read mails surely are used
to think in base64, I'd suppose.

And why isn't Evo. using the same charset it uses for the body?

use iso-8859-15 (or maybe even windows-1252) to encode strings in the
header?
Further, I'm unable to type the Euro character in the body compose

Is this fixed in CVS? Since the ¤ is there, this seems to be about
time...

That's from your mail. windows-1251 is the bug, btw.
Uhm, when you type the ¤ in the subject, do you see a ¤ in the window

Hi!
Where can I get a current snapshot of Evolution? On
ftp://ftp.ximian.com/pub/evolution-snapshot/redhat-70-i386 there are
only snapshots from 200112180857.
Are there no newer ones?

I think the easiest way to get around this is to recompile it yourself.
If you do so, you can set the --prefix to your $HOME (or where ever you
want it).

Hi!
I'm using the Evolution 0.14 package made by Mandrake.
As you can see below, I set a signature for this account. However, the
signature file already contains a sig delimeter (-- ) and thus the --
added by Evo is unneeded.
How can I set it, so that Evo does NOT add the -- ?
--
Alexander
to be everything below the
-- \n. The -- \n added by Evolution are eye candy - and they are
disturbing.
