This is standard practice on Internet lists and is trivial to do in Evolution, in fact it's the default behaviour]. I also get Gtk errors even when everything is working correctly (I'm running under KDE). (It would be more useful to add comments to the BZ report so they can all stay in one place, rather than repeat it all here. Some of what you are saying is already reported there). poc ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

An update on this: Finally Evolution asked for password. But the situation remains the same, mail works perfect but calendar returns an error. If I run Evolution from console, I get this message: evolution (evolution:3331): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme directory base/ of theme oxygen has no size field NOT SANDBOXED Cheers, Sylvia ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
Re: [Evolution] Calendars aren't connecting
Hello! I deleted everything and now I know the problem. Evolution is not asking for a password. First time it did, but now it's not asking and I can't figure out how to add the password so Evolution can properly login. [Please don't top-post] The fact that you use POP rather than IMAP is irrelevant here. Firstly, from your description it appears that your problem is with the calendar rather than the mail, and secondly Google still requires you to authenticate to download messages using POP. The Gnome/KDE thing isn't relevant either. I mentioned it in my original post just in case. I've no idea what's causing this either, except it does seem related to Google rather than other providers. It's worth noting that Google changed their authentication policies in the past and in fact recently announced a new change related to automatic token expiry (though that probably isn't the problem here). poc ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
Re: [Evolution] Calendars aren't connecting
Hi! Well, my email account is POP, not IMAP. It is Google but I'm not in KDE, I'm in Gnome Shell. Also, This Evolution install (with all its data and configuration) has roughly two months or less, and up to now never give a problem. I don't know what caused it because email works well and I don't remember doing any update that would affect it or changing anything on Google's side. [Evolution] Calendars aren't connecting
Hello everyone! I'm using Fedora Workstation with Evolution as Mail/Calendar. It's been some months now and never a problem but now one of my calendars (Google Calendar) refuses to connect. It shows two errors as you can see in this link https://crossingtheair.wordpress.com/2016/09/21/mysterious-evolution/ Any ideas about why and how? Thanks in advance!
