Hi Arlin,
I attended the first 30mins of the meeting. Sorry I had to drop off before the
end to go to another meeting. I mostly agree with others that having a OFED
release with just bug fixes isn't that helpful. It's better to have a fully
featured one. Having said that we are happy to do

Hi Vlad,
I have been trying to install the latest OFED-4.17 build
(OFED-4.17-20180919-0806.tgz)
in SLES 12SP3/15. It looks like the libibverbs package does not install the

Hi Arlin,
I won't be able to join tomorrow. My update is as follows:
- Build testing done for RHEL 7.4/7.5, SLES 12.3/15.
- Functional tests should be done by end of this week.
- Will start Interoperability and backward compatibility tests after that.
Thanks,
Adit

Hi Arlin, Vlad,
I would like to ask if PVRDMA driver could be moved out of tech preview and
added as part of OFED 4.8-2 as another provider? The patches in the tech
preview branches could be added to the linux-4.8 git tree instead. The library
already gets installed as part of rdma-core and

Hi,
Currently, the vmw_pvrdma driver is included as a tech preview. It still
requires its userspace component
(libvmw_pvrdma) from rdma-core. It would be part of rdma-core-13 release I
think. If OFED decides to use
rdma-core-12 release, we would need some way to add the PVRDMA library as well

Yes it should work. But since it is a tech preview I guess its not enabled by
default?

The PVRDMA driver was merged into the linux kernel for 4.10 release
recently. However, the name/location was updated to vmw_pvrdma to
identify a VMware-specific paravirtual driver. I would also like to
update this in OFED 4.8 so was wondering what is the best way for this.
