(licensed) version of 2010 opening up even when I needed the earlier
version to open.

I had installed 2003/2007 excel versions and i haven't meet any crashes ,
now i have excel 2007 ver. and access 2003 ver.
to have both version installed on your machine , you need to change folder
destination.
