In EX 5.5, Where are the MTA logs stored? Is there an application to make
sense of them?

You may want to think this one through a bit.
Scenes of unrolling one's sleeping bag in the middle of the M-1 come to

Good thought but I think her machine is one of our older Win98 boxes without
File Print sharing enabled. :(
For reasons that seem obvious after this phone call she's near the bottom of
the list for upgrades.

Daniel, you can see many photos
Does anybody know where I can find the built-in criteria Outlook 2002 uses
to filter junk email? I can guess what it uses (i.e.. Advertisement in the
subject, etc.) but I would like to have the hidden agenda.

Look for a file named filters.txt (probably in c:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\1033
That file contains the criteria. It's there for your edification. You
cannot modify the rules.

Hey Chris,
Remember when I wrote to you about an issue that I had, and you diagnosed it
as a UDP problem over a firewall, and gave me an article about new mail
notification?
Well I finally got the Q article. Q264035
Thanks for all your help,
you al are a GREAT resource

Just one final note on all of this. I do appreciate the honest attempts to
assist me and offer opinions and appreciate the very helpful off-list
responses even more. I can also take sarcasm more than most people.
However, the problem I had with a few of the posts were that they were not
I did forward that to the other recipient as they are the ones using Mail
Essentials, not me. Since that does seem to be it and it's their server who
keeps sending it to them only, I left it in their court. I have not heard
back on whether it was the actual fix for that problem yet. Thank you.
In that case, they should check the Mail Essentials - Incoming subdirectory,
not the Outgoing subdirectory. I've seen messages get stuck in both places
numerous times.

Certainly I've never heard of such a thing. Even if it has happened, the
