This problems appears to have just cropped up in the last several hours.
When opening an e-mail with an embedded graphic the above error is displayed
and the message opens without the graphic.
Everyone around here swears

We use Groupshield.

You went direct to the point.
I started the Scan on demand feature and after a few passes over the
mailboxes the bricklevel backup started to work.
I don´t know why this happens. Is it due the AV software?
It has a Scan on access that is enabled all the time.

I´ll do my homework first. It´s 16 GB DB and about 300 mailboxes.
After that I should have some fun installing the hotfix!

If we try twice the same message in a mailbox, the attachment opens.
It seems Exchange (5.5 SP4 - NT 4 SP6a) lost the pointer to the
attachments.
The same happens doing bricklevel backup. Arcserve stops the backup

We are getting this alot now. If you click OK the e-mail opens without the
attatchments. If you close the e-mail and re-open it, everything is there.
Any ideas of what I need to do to stop this. This is happening on
mailboxes and .pst's.
