I have a small problem with a remote mail user. He connects to the Exchange
server using VPN client software (secure-remote and Firewall1).
He is able to send text only emails without a problem. He can also receive
both text only emails and those with attachments. However, he cannot send

Yes. No-one else has complained and I am able to send attachments over
remote mail. I was assuming it is client side but as yes I cannot find why
it happens.

I agree with client side but it wouldn't hurt to check exchange mailbox
settings for the user to ensure they match other users that do work.
