Send Authentication on Exchange

2001-12-30 Thread Van Huissteden, Adriaan

HI all,

I have a friend that seems to be having there server used to send
Spam mail out

How do I set Exchange server to authenticate users sending email to
it (Forwarding - Relaying?)

I am not sure if I have used the correct terms, but please
ask me anything you need

Cheers - Happy New Year!

What version of Exchange? It does make a little bit of difference, you
know.

It's amazing what you can find on the Microsoft Web Site. Even papers
by list participant, noted author and all-around nice guy Paul
Robichaux.

Plus these:

That should help you get a start.
