The queue Inbound messages awaiting delivery are messages that have already been read from the file system, converted and placed in the store. Deleting queue.dat won't help a bit. The Q article said to delete queue.dat so whoever wrote it doesn't know what they were doing. I thought I may have to use mdbvu32.exe but have never used it before. I'm moving everything to Exchange 2000 soon so maybe I'll just leave them out there for now.
