Dean,
You need to recompile the kdelibs package. When you are recompiling it,
ensure that --enable-xinerama is passed to the configure script.
If that does not help, contact me off the list and I will try to help you.

Hi all,
To get the other styles displayed in kcontrol, add the following line to
~/.qt/qtrc
[General]
libraryPath=/opt/kde3/lib/kde3/plugins/
You don't have to restart KDE to load the new plugins.

mv is just a rename of the file. So, if you have write permission for the
directory that the file is in, you can change the name of the file. You can
also remove a file if you have permission for the directory.
So, the example that you gave is the correct behaviour.

I assume you are asking about the bookmark toolbar. If so, this is what
you do.
Go to "Edit Bookmarks"
Create a new Folder (I call it "Toolbar")
Right click on the Folder and choose "Set As Toolbar Folder"
Save your bookmarks and you are done.

This problem can occur if you are running MandrakeUpdate in a directory which
is NFS mounted and root cannot write to the directory. To solve it, cd to
/tmp and run MandrakeUpdate from there.

Instead of changing the menu entry an easier option is to create a shell
wrapper which will change to the proper directory and invoke Mandrake Update.
1. Rename MandrakeUpdate to MandrakeUpdate.orig
2. Create a new shell script with the following contents and call it
MandrakeUpdate
-- cut
Might be a very basic question, but do you have an alias for eth0 in
/etc/modules.conf? I have one which says

"-nolisten tcp".
I am still trying to figure out why kdm is listening on 1024.

If you look at the error message, you will see that it says that it cannot

If you create a reverse DNS entry for 192.168.0.x, you should be able to run

LM7.2 comes with 2.2.17 version of the linux kernel. This kernel has support
