Be very careful. Many people miss this bit of info:
Check for installed RSA/DSA keys in any ssh accounts. Just because you
change passwords doesn't mean you're safe. He/She may have a stray
account that, if an RSA/DSA key was installed would give acces without
password needed.

More OEM's and companys should have this. It would be amazing to some
people the responses they would get. Instead most of them just say," The
only people that want this are Windows users" with their heads still
buried in the sand.

I couldn't find it in any package so I symlinked it from

symlinking the different versions was a ugly hack.

Just curios, Why didn't the kernel just kill gpilotd and not reboot?
On your other note, By the time it was brought to my attention, it was
already killed. I had no time to run top, let alone gkrellm.

I had a user's machine (Mdk 8.2) suddenly freeze up. The cpu was at 100%
(kernel, not user), and he was kicked back out to the logic screen.
I then found this in /var/adm/messages.

failed (gfp=0x1d2/0)

when I use gedit, if I use the normal enter key it works. If for some
reason I am entering numbers and use the enter key on the num pad, I
just get squares (unprintable characters). Is there any way to bind this
key to function just as the normal enter key?
Thanks.

I am using mdk9 and a MSI (ms-6378) motherboard with a tv tunercard,
dvd, etc. to create my own set-top box. (Custom case and everything -
very cool :) )
My problem is that when I try to put the machine into standby using 'apm
-s' the screen blanks but the disk and the fans are still running.
I always go with linksys for my networing and wireless needs. I haven't
come across a device that wasn't supported under Linux.

Why must /root be on the same file system as / ?
I keep mine separate as not to wipe out ssh keys and other things. I can
change it after the initial install and all is fine, but the installer
complains.
Just wondering.
