Somebody scribbled about [expert] DVD stuff OK, so I've got a DVD player in my server and in one of my client systems. I've never used them for more than reading CD roms though. Today I got a wild hare and decided to try one. I tried to use xine + a I had xine working yesterday :( Have had

Is it crashing when at dvd menu or while at film? To play menus you need xine-dvdnav plugin. I have a Mandrake 8.2 and see DVD with no problems at all. If I do (as root): rpm -qa | grep xine I get the following list of installed packages: xine-win32-0.9.13-3plf libxine0-0.9.13-3plf
