I have just recently installed 9.0 and - obviously - my Netgear MA401 wireless
card didn't work - so - first thing first, I started searching the 'net.
Mandrake expert archive seemed like a good starting point, and - though I
found helpful hints and I have it now (somehow) working, I
That is so odd. I have never had to take even a second glance at my MA401
card - yet it seems over the past couple of weeks that quite a number of
people are complaining about it. Could it possibly be that the hardware
is not functioning correctly (bad card)?

to search the list archives for the section of
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/functions to comment out, it's a link
checking function. initscripts-6.91-16.1mdk
I already did fix that (i.e. commenting out the grep part), as I
mentioned in my original message, when talking about the
network-functions).
Hardware is OK ... tested fine with Win :(
