I am running mandrake 7.1 with kernel 2.2.17-0.16mdk.
I am trying to find out why I can't access my floppy.
Here is the line from my /etc/fstab
/mnt/floopy /mnt/floppy supermount fs=auto,dev=/dev/fd0 0 0
The line for the cdrom is similar
/mnt/cdrom /mnt/cdrom supermount

There's part of the problem. Supermount doesn't properly understand fs=auto.
You have to use either vfat ot
