Did you enable glx module in /etc/X11/XFree86-4 file?
Normally it looks like 'Load "glx"' in "Module" section, of course,
it requires your video card supporting GLX.

I have grepped through the RPMS on all three CD's looking for Xlib,
xlib, GLX, or glx and found only one rpm containi
