I would like to configure my linux server to automatically fail over to a
redundant ethernet interface (while maintaining the same IP) in case of a
network failure on the first interface.
How would I go about doing that?

I just tried to install Mandrake 7.2. It got all the way through the
installation but died on the network configuration When trying to
configure for local LAN it didnt seem to detect my card... I have never
had problems with other versions of Mandrake and its the same machine...

directory on your C Drive (ie c:\mdkcd or similar), and then boot off a
hd.img floppy (look in /images on the CD).
When it asks you where the files are, select the drive (/dev/hda1?) and

I'm trying to get bttv to work on my LM 7.1 installation. I have all the
required modules and they load correctly. Then I got my hands on the
'kwintv-xx.tar.gz' and expanded it.
When I run ./configure from within the kwintv directory, a lot of check
scroll up quickly till
'checking for jpeglib6a.
I downloaded the Mandrake 7.2 iso's and wrote them out using
cdrecord. Since I checked the md5sums and no errors were
reported so I am guessing the cd write is good. Any way here is
