filter and that is the
problem. I'll report back my findings.
Have an awesome weekend everyone.

Subject: Re: [Fail2ban-users] Fail2ban & FreeBSD
Hello Ri
It looks like fail2ban still crashes on FreeBSD. I built a brand new server and
used default config for freebsd. Added some rules into my own filter and it was
running fine. Then it just stops.
I check the log file -
2016-02-21 09:47:01,755 fail2ban.actions[705]: NOTICE [sendmail] Ban
You could do a few while loops to log these into a file.
cat /var/log/maillog | grep "Junk" | cut -d ">" -f1 | cut -d "<" -f2 | while
read rubbish ; do grep $rubbish /var/log/maillog ; done | grep postfix | cut -d
":" -f4 | while read messageid ; do grep $messageid /var/log/maillog ; done |
Hi,
I'm still experiencing problems. Fail2ban crashes, when I run
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/fail2ban status - shows as 'not running'.
I then change fail2ban.conf to dbfile = None and it works. No crashes at all.

that are
Hi everyone,

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if there is a way to pass fail2ban a file listing all hosts
that I would like to be whitelisted?
Possibly 1 host per line?
Thanks,
Rich

Hi users,
I'm trying to run fail2ban on freebsd10 but it keeps stopping. I am using ipfw
tables (table 1) and I am just using sendmail-reject as a jail.
I've also tried my own rules. It works for about a minute, then it stops.
I wondered if anyone had any clues to what I might be doing wrong.
