to limit Obama to one term. Much of the voter opposition to Obama's agenda was
a function of GOP legislators lying to their constituents about what it
involved. And what Obama got passed was in spite of continuous foot-dragging by
the GOP.

The stimulus that he was finally able to pass over strenuous GOP opposition
was just barely enough to keep the economy from tanking completely. Had he
gotten the stimulus he asked for, recovery would have been much quicker. The
slow recovery was another reason the GOP won back the House and Senate.

But Obama wasn't exactly "finished," now, was he?

i don't know, I think it might be a hit. Sounds to me like they are remaking it 
and bringing it up to date *culturally*, from what I've read.

I could only imagine making Gone With The Wind from a politically correct 
perspective. Nearly every scene with Melanie and Scarlet would be about who 
could beat Mamie the hardest or  sex scenes with Prissy, Rhett and Ashley 
Wilkes.
