 From what I can gather, Steve Jobs was not a materialistic fellow.  According 
to a newspaper article here in the Bay Area, he preferred to stay in his modest 
home in Silicon Valley rather than move into a more expensive home in the 
area-- worthy of a high tech billionaire..  So, from that piece of information, 
he did not appear to be stuck in the matrix, or phenomenal existence.  He could 
have been enlightened despite retaining his old personality and quirks.
 

 Perhaps this is the reason why MMY wanted to explain Vedic wisdom in terms of 
science and modern concrete language.

points out when you attain enlightenment you kinda get stuck with the 
personality you have at the time.  So Jobs got stuck with being an asshole.  I 
know MMY said some similar things as did my tantra guru.  Samskaras don't get 
entirely dissolved.

is used to benefit human beings, then the person is doing something good and 
could lead to his liberation from world condition or the matrix.  It appears 
that the key to liberation is being one with the Unified Field in unity

Samadhi, which has been sung in the vedas and taught by the ancient rishis,

I believe this to be true, and one of myths of enlightenment that needs to be 
dispelled, I think.
