Höjööh Rick, my friend Peter from Sweden solved it for me: You can post that , if you like In my world there is a lot of people, each having their own view of what's going on. I think it's built in, that we all have different opinions and ideas. Of course someone thinks this or that, and some do anything to catch others attention. Many people share common thoughts or beliefs, for instance someone is after me / someone wants to harm me. The government is them or they. Or the communists. Or, if it's a WW2-movie, they are the Germans. Of course the TM-guy is from secret service. It's an upsetting thought confirming what you already know - the world is a conspiracy against you! Therefore you don't need any proof, it's already proven. And you are from Sweden. Without doubt. That's why you can't levitate. Everyone knows Swedes can't levitate. So that's the truth! When my kids came home from school, being upset with some class-mate that said this or that, I used to ask them OK, but what do you feel is the thuth?. Then they looked inside and delivered an answer, upon which I said Then you know what is true. Let the others say whatever they say, that's their freedom. They can't take away what you feel inside. For many years the cult has been living under the fear of infiltration by spies from the CIA and other government agencies but it was always thought that the penetration was limited to low level operatives. A spokesman said We knew that someone was sending us off in funny directions but we couldn't work out who it was. In retrospect his performance in Central America should have made us suspicious and standing up in front of a German audience announcing that he planned to succeed where Hitler had failed was a bit of a giveaway but because he was disguised with a crown we thought he was one of us. asked how they finally rumbled him the spokesman said He overplayed his hand, for years we'd been told that maintaining high prices meant we would take over the world by teaching meditation to rich people but it didn't seem to be working and we thought it must be government agents who were misdirecting us. We caught him out in a vote over the prices. We all voted to reduce the prices we charge for learning meditation and he was the only one holding out for higher prices. He was isolated and it was clear something funny was going on so we searched his room and found coded messages from his controller in the BND instructing him to make sure we kept prices so high no one would learn. Asked what they planned to do to him he replied Well he has to have a trial and it's well known that government agents float in water so we've arranged a public test to see if he floats, either that or we'll see if he's lighter than a duck Another person in the cult claimed He turned me into a newt! But I got better Professor Van Dyke a leading Vlodropolgist from the University of Amsterdam said We've known for years that they're stark raving bonkers but we thought it was the lysergic acid in the Argyreia Nervosa they put in their herbal preparations that was keeping them tripped out. To discover that it was actually all part of a government plot is quite a surprise. Though I think the agent must have had some help from the wood gnomes camped out on the southern perimeter of their compound otherwise he would have been outed earlier. -- ends Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com

Inspectors to Search for Homosexuals Permits Use of Advanced Gaydar Just days after asserting that there are no homosexuals in Iran, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad today invited United Nations inspectors into his country to search for homosexuals. We have nothing to hide, Mr. Ahmadinejad said in a speech to the United Nations General Assembly. You can search the entire country – even the airport bathrooms. While some senior U.S. diplomats expressed scepticism about the Iranian president's offer to allow U.N. inspectors to search his country for homosexuals, Mr. Ahmadinejad attempted to silence the sceptics by permitting the use of advanced gaydar technology as part of the proposed inspections. In Iran we have the most advanced gaydar in the world and we are prepared to share it with you, he said. In the immediate aftermath of Mr. Ahmadinejad's speech, it was unclear as to who would lead the U.N.'s inspection efforts, but most diplomats assumed that the task would fall to Mohamed ElBaradei, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). At a press conference at the United Nations, Mr. ElBaradei acknowledged that he had no previous experience searching for homosexuals, but said that if chosen to lead the inspection effort he would make sure that the inspections were rigorous and thorough. The possibility that Iran may possess homosexuals is a serious matter to the world community, Mr. ElBaradei said. There has been evidence for some time that Iran may be attempting to build a Broadway musical. Elsewhere, President Bush made his first official comment on the situation in Myanmar, telling reporters, I will support whichever side is easier to pronounce.

I'm not saying the AMT folks haven't contributed a lot - they have. But they brought old grudges and sloppy posting habits with them which may have more than counterbalanced their contributions. People needn't unsubscribe, but if they can't voluntarily change old habits, we're going to impose some control. Just as an experiment, you might want to look over Barry's Things TMers Believe quotes and read them in context. A very substantial number of them are responses to attacks by TM critics, primarily by Barry himself. If I were to post a compendium of quotes from Barry's posts attacking TMers, I wonder if you'd offer to archive it. Somehow I doubt it. There's a files section on FFL in which anyone can archive anything. There's also a links section in which you can link to any post. Maybe Barry is finished with that little exercise. I'll bet that anyone who read your post (the one I'm responding to here) thought, Oh God, she just doesn't get it. We're sick of hearing Judy's opinion of Barry and vice versa.
