And maybe the KBG is in service to the Illuminati? Who are maybe in service to off planet beings who are trying to prevent Earth inhabitants from blowing the galaxy to kingdom come? Fun to speculate. Meanwhile, we can live a full life. Be of service to Life, whatever's in front of us now. You're showing your age. There are at least one full generation of kids who have no idea who the Beatles were, and no desire to find out. They were a phenom- enon of the late 60s and 70s, and for the most part, only those who lived through those times are still fascinated by them. I have watched 15-year-olds be introduced to their first taste of Beatles music, and be turned off by it completely. There is simply nothing in it that appeals to them. Part of the reason, I am convinced, is that the songs themselves were mixed to the tastes and the tech of the times, and these days almost all Beatles songs sound too tinny and treble-y, compared to contemporary mixes. There is a tendency among TMers to over-glorify the Beatles because they associate them with TM. This is silly on the face of it, because their TM careers were really only a couple of years in the midst of much longer (and far more interesting) careers. And while everyone gets to be nostalgic for the music of our youth, I think it's important to realize that in most countries of the world, *most* people under the age of 20 don't know who the Beatles were, and have no desire to. It's an old folks' nostalgia, the same way our parents might have been nostalgic for Frank Sinatra or performers who simply didn't map to our reality.

Though I can agree to much of this the music of the Beatles still stands very good today and continue to inspire new generations of musiscians, though perhaps not hip-hoppers and rappers. And while the latter two will become but a bracket in the history of music Beatles still continue to inspire. You, and the Curtis-fellow will probably argue that rapping is an ooold tradition, but anyone with ears realize that this form of music is already on it's way out big time. Because it's boring. And often very negative. And as usual you throw in a couple of outright lies. It's a fact that George Harrisson meditated with TM till his deathbed, he also claimed that he never left Maharishi although he was also involved with the HareKrishnas. Ringo has recently stated that he is regular in TM and that it saved his life and that Maharishi is the most influential person he ever met. McCartney confirmed his regularity of the TM practise in an interview only a few weeks ago. So dream om Turqo-boy, the remaining members of the Beatles are not going to become Buddhists any time soon :-)
