You are mistaking indulgence for an element of panic or lack of nuance, Steve.
:-) Yes, with Trump it is all caricature and slapstick. He is a clown and I
write about him as such. Sometimes laying it on with a trowel, I gleefully
admit. Not everyone's cuppa. Thanks for your honest and unloaded assessment, as
always.

I don't know if that makes sense.

If Drumpf gets in there probably won't be any "next round". It's that bad were

It's cool. Like I said, I like you Steve and you have a way with words at
times that I find hilarious - especially when you create these mock
conversations (usually between bawee and someone else - you always nail it) but
Ollie has the gift of dumping on Trump that is perfect for me. I totally get
where he's coming from with his descriptions and they resonate with my utter
contempt for the tawdry excuse for a man that Trump is disguised as.

Some people don't trust the people to have the competency to understand
something as important as electing the President - a direct democracy. If the
U.S. had direct voting it would be pandemonium having a national recount.

Better to vote your conscience and let the electors do their job. Avoid the
danger that lies ahead!

don't understand how Steve, and I like Steve and find him hilarious -
especially when baiting bawee - can not appreciate Ollie's take downs of Trump.

If you vote third party then you don't need to blame yourself when
fascist A or B drives the economy or the world into the ground or blows
it up. Enough people vote third party and it will be harder to ignore
those candidates next round.

Thanks - I wanted to see if I could mimic fluent "Trump". In other words get
completely wrapped around the axle about something minor and off-topic, repeat
endlessly, and then string together a paragraph with lots of trigger words, but
when briefly analyzed, makes no sense at all. :-) Rudy "Ghouliani" now calls
him a 'genius', and that says a lot about naked ambition.

Brilliant, but you left out the word "dizaster". He always uses this
multiple times in most sentences. It is almost beyond endurance to listen to
him say something once but he always repeats himself at least twice. Only for
the strong of stomach and constitution. I have no stamina to listen to him.
