I find it odd and even a bit annoying that people can somehow manage to
subscribe and then not be able to figure out how to unsubscribe. But, it seldom
happens, and it takes me less time to simply unsubscribe them than teach them
how to do it themselves.

I do notice that different web browsers do recognize the security authenicity

Frankly, I rather prefer to read the community posts directly off the web home

Members can regulate their own membership and how they receive posts that are

2016-01-09 Thread dhamiltony...@yahoo.com [FairfieldLife]
Yeah, I am sorry to see Jim go. For conveying a veracity to the Fairfield, TM,
and the .org context of spiritual conversation here it is always good have more
insight from more people inside TM. In fact it would be extremely helpful to
the whole of the community to have more people stepping up to explaining how it
is going inside for TM.

Evidently there is a lot going on inside right now in strategic planning,
re-forming, and re-organizing towards a better experience for people in it.
Someone was characterizing the next year as, 2016 The Year of Tumult.

While some few of the folks who post here to FFL are some who are well-wishers
still present, living, and even active in TM or the Fairfield, Iowa meditating
community, it would be useful, even helpful, for everyone involved to have
more and wider direct contact with the middle of TM towards some better
perspective for everyone. FairfieldLife as a place, a forum, from its
inception has always played a role in that communication. -JaiGuruYou!

I think I see what's going on. Go to:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/messages

At the top of the list, there are identifiers for each column. The
first one is Topics, and I would wager you accidentally clicked on
Group by Topic. If that's what you did, then next to Topics you'll
have a clickable link labeled List as Individual Messages. Click
that, and the individual messages will be listed sequentially.

No, not on a Mac. I've had strange stuff like this before, and then
it straightens itself out. So you're a teacher. When you have
more posts to burn, I'd like to know more about what you teach, etc

There are a variety of ways to display messages on the web site. Set
Most Recent Messages to View All. It will display the messages most
likely by Topic as that seems to be your problem. Click on List
Individual Messages by Topics and you'll have the messages in
sequence. You might want to read the Messages Help over on the right
near the top so you can read about all the various ways you can display
messages.
