Thanks Albert and Stephane for the explanations. I made the lexical shortcut of FAUST's polyphony as architecture files seem part of FAUST to me... But sure, it is independant the FAUST-dsp syntax. The polyphony management is mostly falling in the control side, and the negotiation with the DSP

If I understand corrrectly faust doesn't directly support polyphony, the architecutres handle that and create an instance of the faust instrument per voice, right?. My question is how would you do something like 2 strings with sympathetic resonance? I'm new to physical modelling so maybe this is
