I have a system dual boot xp with windows 7 which working fine, I installed the
F12 into this system, after first part of the installation complete, and then
reboot, the BIOS check finished, and the system got stuck, only the cursor kept
blinking at top left and won't go further, fortunately

Guidelines:
This computer has Windows 7 and XP dual boot, the XP in first partition C:\
(Primary, active), Windows 7 in first of extended partition, prior to Fedora
12 installation I made an image of XP c:\ with True Image, then I started F12
installation and everything seamed going well, finally the F12
was that drastic. Sandisk offers a
removal tool that gave me back the missing space, but you need to run it
with windows and I'm not sure it would work on a different brand.

When using Firefox, by pressing Ctrl++ to incease font size, the line
width will increase as the fonts are getting bigger, is this the problem
of firefox or the design of web page?

then Greeter appears to be crashing. Attempting to
use a different one, this Greeter keeps attempting to
do the same but never can start the log in.
Need help to fix it if can avoid fresh installation.

package that was released 2004-01. So that is, in fact, a lifetime of
~20 months.
9.0 EOL was 2004-04. That makes it a lifetime of ~12 months.
Just pointing all this out for whatever it happens to be worth...
