I just upgraded (fresh install) to F9 from F7. I preserved my home
directory. When you go to the above mentioned menus, its now missing
the WebDAV(Secure) option, any reason why ? Did I miss something in the

What is the easyest way to limit bandwitdh usage for an IP address on my

Try shorewall.
It has some traffic shaping capabilities.

Hi all,
I'm using F9 x86_64.
I have noticed a weird thing, I can't solve:
If I plug my headset, the speakers don't mute. I've tried to dig into
volume control and PulseAudio, but I can't make them work properly.
Any hints?

just installed a fresh copy of fedora 8 to use as a file and print server,
I have a canon LBP2900 printer that used to print perfectly on windows two
days ago on the same machine before converting it to Linux,
cups see the printer with the latest driver installed from canon websit

I try to install Fedora 9 on a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Xi2550
using a DVD. I use text bases installation due to Radeon HD2700.
When the installation program installs the rpm-packages from the DVD,
it stops after some hundred packages and gives a long python-related

I have a date problem with my smtp daemon (postfix).
Postifx use several daemons I can see in /var/log/maillog.
The problem is that all postfix dameons use my real time, except smtp
wihich uses GMT time.
How can I solve this issue ?
