Hi if you need info on Corona not causing FIP in most cases then I suggest you
contact Dianne Addie at Glasgow University in UK. She has a website on FIP and
corona viruses as she has been researching it for many years and is teh leading
expert here in UK.

I forgot to say that if you do contact Dianne Addie then state your history and
involvement in feline rescue as I am sure you would anyway. But as a rule

Tad, I am so sorry about Annie. It is wonderful that you and she became closer near her end - and she will certainly live on in the changes that she brought about in your feral kitty. Take care.Tad Burnett [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

Tad,
What a lovely tribute to Annie. I am so glad that she had some time with you and was just not left on the street or euthanized in the vet's office.I keep re-reading your post, wondering why her behavior changed, but I just can't figure it out. Maybe, she just wanted something to call her

Tad,
I am really, really sorry. The number of deaths have
been overwhelming in the last week or two. It is heartbreaking. I am glad
that Annie went so quickly and without pain, if she had to go, but she should
not have had to go. I am so glad that you took care of her, and that she
did not
The No More Homeless Pets forum deals with specific issues each week, not
all questions. I would actually call Best Friends Sanctuary itself, in
Utah, for advice. And again, I would call the Animal Legal Defense Fund
for advice and a referral to a local pro bono attorney.

Tad,
I am so sorry for you; it is so hard to lose a beloved kitty. They are all beloved even if some are not as affectionate, aren't they?
Annie is now with all of the furangels.

Tad,
I am so sorry to hear that your Annie passed on. I
hope you have some comfort in knowing that if you
hadn't taken her in, her life might not have been much
living in that cage. I know she was happy that you
did. I was very surprised that she passed as
peacefully as she did. What a
Hey Sandy,
Glad to hear that Cotton's diarrhea has cleared up.
Sounds like he's doing well, thank goodness. I use
Miticide (I think that's the name of it) on my
kitties' ears if they get mites. You can get it at
Walmart. It's really gooey and smothers the mites. I

Thank you Sheila. The prayers have definitely helped.

Steph,
Thanks so much! Very cool! I just wanted to tell
everyone that Cricket was a very mischevious kitty
sometimes, especially at Christmas time. I haven't
been able to keep a tree intact for the past four
years. lol. In the photo where Cricket is watching
TV, he was watching that intro.
Wendy, he was so cute-- and mischievous like my Simon! What a heartbreak
that he is gone. He looks so healthy and happy in the pictures.
Michelle
Yes, he was always healthy except for that one week
two years ago when he got that infection. Other than
that, he's had a smooth ride for a kitty with FeLV,
expect for the past three and a half weeks. It's hard
to get used to seeing someone so healthy get sick like
that. I am just glad that
I just got off the phone with Hideyo, she needs more of your prayers and
healing thoughts. One of her semi feral boys, Garfunkel, is in a very
bad way right now. He was failing, but doing okay, up until, I think she
said yesterday. He's stopped eating and is barely moving around, his

I do not know how she does all that she does. She and Garfunkel and Ruby-E
are certainly in my prayers and thoughts.
Michelle
She is such a special, kind-hearted person.
Why do bad things happen to such good people?
I know it's mostly because we are the ones who care,
but... it's just not fair!
I'm keeping her in my prayers and sending stay strong vibes
and Victory Vibes to her and all of her kitties!!

Hideyo,
I am sending you and Garfunkel strength and comfort.
Good for you for staying with him while he goes
through this, and I am hoping for a miracle for him to
survive. But if he passes, I hope it is a peaceful
one, and I've asked Cricket to be waiting for him at

Please tell Hideyo I'm thinking about her and her furbabies. I send alot of love and goodthoughts. Please tellher I'msending a big cyber hug to her.
I have lit candles in my home for those that have passed and for those that are ill.
She is in my thoughts andprayers!

Thank you Belinda. I think so, too. :) I don't know if you can tell from
