Hi Debbie,
I do not think they are chastising you. I personally do not intend to add cats, until after Junior passes and I an sure the other eight cats stay clean of the virus. Although things happen.

it could be to fall into such a thing, but I also think that instead of society
critisizing these people for trying their best to help - they themselves
should help more.

All 14 of our babies seem to be ok after their testing and FELV shots. Does
everyone feel like cats should get this vaccine every year I have read some
controversial stuff on this. These cats do not go outside. Also, how does
everyone here feel about getting rabies shots for indoor cats?
As far as nervous chewing - our vet prescribed ovaban tablets. They seem to work but another vet says they can cause diabetes. What is this groups opinion on this? I recall years ago they also gave ovaban to me for male cat I had adopted. He was aggressive and they said it would calm him down.
So no one here has heard much about the use of ovaban for itching and
calming them down?

p.s. forgive me for not always signing my name. I am usually in the middle

It really makes you wonder. I recall years ago I took my dog to a vet for itching. The vet took a skin scraping and came back saying it was ringroom. I didn't believe this because it looked nothing like that plus I was with the dog constantly and had no signs of it. I took my dog to another vet
Do any vets ever frequent this list? I just wondered.
is it normal for a cat to act "out of it" after being given the FELV shot? One of the 14 we took last night acts like he isn't feeling well. Any help would be appreciated.
Am taking our 14 cats in tonight to be tested for FELV. This was after we had Elsa put to sleep because of fluid in her lungs and her testing positive.
Wish us luck. I don't know what to expect. I'd like to think no one else will test positive, but I doubt that will be the case. All the cats are

Hi Debbie,
I would check around with other places in your area to see if you can find the tests cheaper. I can get a combo test here for $

I'm sorry for the loss of your cat.
