Jeni,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm nowhere near New York. I hope you find
someone to take your kittens.

Wow! You are a saint welcoming another FeLV+ baby
into your loving home. I hope that he's with you for
years to come. I can't help with the kittens, except
to wish you good luck in finding them homes quickly.

He's living in my office--never thought about the bathroom :). But, I
completely understand about husbands. Mine is very tolerant, as I'm sure
yours must be, but I have one foster in the office and 2 in the garage,

Thanks again

Tonya,
I just don't understand people! It would make me madder, if it weren't
so disheartening. Imagine how those people must treat the humans in
their lives. I'm sure glad I don't have to depend on them! My bet is
they'll end up with no one to care for them when they need it. I feel

Tonya it's wonderful that you are taking her in and giving her the love and care she deserves. There is truly something wrong with people who can do this to a cat they have had for so long. Don't they know that cats have feelings too? I could no sooner give up one of my old babies as I could a
Thank God for you, I can not believe some people out there can be so uncaring. catatonya [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

Bless your heart for taking this kitty to live out her time with you. She doesn't deserve to be tossed out like garbage. I do the same thing with Siameses they will live out their time with me or with my fosters.
You are an "Angel" for doing this regardless of what others may say!

Tonya,
it's wonderful that you're taking the little blind puss. She must be so
disoriented and depressed right now. She'll be so happy once she's settled in a
new LOVING home. As you say, it's beyond belief, and sickeningly so,that
someone can do this. Makes you want to lock
Big hugs to you for taking in this kitty, you are

Well, I got an email at work today from the shelter saying that someone had already rescued this cat and she had a wonderful 'retirement home'. So good news for this poor cat. I really was excited to see her though as I've never seen a cat that old before! However, my place isn't the best because
I do believe that what goes around comes around. It's all you can really hold onto when dealing with some of the ignorant and/ or hateful people.

Hi all,
I
I understand what you mean! I never get the support for the
things I do for cats from anyone I know, family, co-workers, NO
ONE!
This poor cat, she must be terrified! I'm so glad you are
adopting her! I would NOT give her the vaccine, personally. Studies have shown
that it's very unlikely
That's how I'm thinking too. Even if she 'catches' leukemia, I don't think it would have enough time to cause her any problems worse than what she's facing already at that age.

Oh, and no, I wouldn't cage her, I'd give her the bathroom (or
another small room with no furniture). That way she can get a better smell of
her surroundings, but not get hurt. Make sure you don't have any hairdryer cords
hanging down or anything like that, of course. Give her the bathmat or
bless you for bringing her home!

Well, at least they did get the kitty's name. We decided to keep it that way. Her name is Ling...
