Hi Peggy,I'm so sorry that Scooter's problem wasn't solved more quickly. I'm glad that he's not stressed at the vets, I am sure that he will be just fine over the weekend.

Hi Peggy,
Did you tell your vet about his reaction when picked up? About his

in pain, or generally feeling weak and lousy so he doesn't want to be
picked up or fussed over, but I would suspect abdominal pain, or

Oh Peggy, I'm so sorry, it really
doesn't sound good does it? Is the vet going to remove the mass on his jaw? If
he does, he can send it in for pathology, and then you'll know if it's cancer.

Could the mass be an abscess, rather than a tumor? What are they going to do to determine what it is? You are both in my thoughts and prayers and I so hope that maybe it's something benign. Even with the FeLV, I am hoping he will be well. Gina Peggy Ankney <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

rule. Has Scooter been to the vet? If so what tests were done and what
Peggy,
Hm. Is the peeing related to the mouth, I wonder? First off, it's good that he's hydrated enough to pee, I guess that that goes in the plus column. If he has infection in his mouth, that could have migrated to his urinary tract, I suppose. I would definitely ask your vet about the inappr
Have you had a urinalysis done on Scooter? It sounds
like if he is urinating in strange places he may have
a urinary tract infection. He may be in so much pain
from the lesions in his mouth and any teeth that may
need to be extracted. I would try to take him to the
vet today if at all possible.
We had a rough night.
I gave Scooter some more liver shake by an eyedropper – he didn’t
seem to mind that I was gently opening his mouth and squirting it in. Then he slept at the foot of my
bed. Sometime during the night he peed the bed, which is worrisome as he’s always been
