Cherie,
What's going on with Thor that you've been so worried? Is it because
of the vaccine? Is he still having a hard time with the other
animals? Did I miss something, he's not sick is he?

Hi all,
As you know Thor is one of the new kitties, he has not eaten since yesterday, he is negative (or he was, when I got him) I know I might be paranoid, but Snowball went through the same symptoms. Sleeping alot, not eating ANYTHING not even people food and he has a little dark aorund his mout
we all have a collection of wonderful, touching, sometimes silly,
stories and poems and stories --the prayers from kittens, the letters

words for those who've lost a companion.
many of these have been around the web/lists often
Ha! I had to go back and read your original sentence to see what you
were talking about. I must be able to read meow, the syntax didn't
throw me at all!

I would assume it can be used with negatives, since it was not developed specifically for positives, to my knowledge. However, that doesn't mean it is necessarily a good thing to use in that cat's case. That I would not know. But worth asking the vet to look into it.

tad, my thoughts are with you, as well.
thank you for loving her. there really is no greater gift we can give
anyone/anything, no matter how short their time with us is.

dumb question, probably, but can this be used in non-positive cats as
well with high wbc/lymphocytes? i have a friend in california with a
kitty they can't figure out what is happening with, tho all the normal
blood values other than lympho- and leuko-cytes which remain high.

um, let me rephrase that one sentence: "so that any bite inflicted
will not be deep enough to pass the virus." (sometimes i wonder if
meow was my first language, explaining my increasing inability to
write a complete sentence)

karolyn, there is no credible evidence at this point that FIV passes
in ANY way other than DEEP, PENETRATING bites--certainly not by
licking! it has to be blood to blood, and even rough play bites do not
seem to be a problem. remember that FIV+ generally passes during
serious male to male fights ov
Thank you so much for responding to my inquiry. I will definitely give them
all a call.

Thanks Barbara. Are you saying that you mix the
MegaC with regular no-byproduct wet food (regular meaning not low-magnesium or
made for struvite)? Wouldn't that still be a problem, if the wet food had too
much magnesium? Also, why is dry food cheating? Are you doing the raw diet or
are you t
I don't know if the only 3 places in Santa Barbara I know of take

This could be because if the FIV+ cat (Licks) washes the FIV- cat and
then if the FIV- cat licks it's self on the spot where the FIV+ cat
licked him/her and said cat has a break in the skin in it's mouth it is
then possible that the FIV- can become FIV+
