Prayers for Lucy. I hope she's feeling better by the time I catch up on my
email.

Thank you for your suggestions. I am on my way to trying to get one of the
drugs you mentioned. Mylo has an appointment with a specialist on Saturday,
that deals with chronic and severe illnesses so hopefully he can perscribe
me something that can help Mylo. As for vitamins...I'm not sure where
Chris,
I am so glad you are going to see a specialist. Prayers for you and little

Chris,
I'm so glad you've found another vet that might be able to help you and
Mylo. What kind of specialist is he? How is Mylo doing today? I wish
you didn't have to wait until Saturday. Please keep us posted.
Sending healing vibes and calming thoughts,

Canada is pretty good about getting just about anything you can get in the
USA. The Feline Interferon Omega wont be easy to get for you... others here
can send you the paperwork involved to import it to the USA, you could call
what-ever the Canada office over drugs is, and ask them if it's
I have the blood test results with me but I can't find anything saying HCT.
Is there another word for that...what does it stand for?

Where can I get Metamucil/psyllium from? Mylo has been eating Medi-Cal
hypoallergenic gastro for over a week now because of his diarrhea and
internal problems. He has had the diarrhea since Christmas time. He has had
to get IV fluids and injections a few times as well.

You are going to love this--Metamucil/psyllium is normally available in the
laxative area of any grocery/Wal-Mart etc or in health food stores (my
preference). You use just a pinch of the unflavored Metamucil in the food
with each feeding. A little more is not going to hurt anything. As all

Hi Nina, he's a certified internist...if that makes sense. I'm just learning
about these things. Mylo seems the same but eating a little less than
yesterday. He is out of the room he usually likes to hang out in and that's
a good thing. Thank you for your good wishes.

Chris,
Psyllium flakes should be available at a health food store. I've not
been following the threads very carefully, so someone might have
already mentioned these supplements. My FeLV+ girl seems to be seeing
some benefits from Liquid DMG and Transfer Factor. I would think that

Metamucil is available here over the counter, it's a fiber supplement
for humans. If you go with that, look for the unflavored kind.
Psyllium husk is a powder that you can find at the health food store.
Neither of these things helped my Gypsy with her diarrhea, switching her
to a raw diet
Very good. Internists are human like anybody else, some are good and
some are not so good, but this is exactly the type of specialist I'd be
seeking out. I have a really good feeling about Mylo and the new
doctor. So many prayers headed your way!

cats.
