Hi Paola,
Nice to hear from you again. I go along with this approach also
(Beth's). I've also read that adult cats with healthy immune systems
aren't going to get the virus anyhow, at least with neutered healthy
adult cats.
Best of luck to you,
Gloria

Thanks you all so much for your input.
It's really helpful to know it can work.
All my cats are adults and indoor/outdoor hence they were vaccinated and
chances
are they've mingled in places where FeLV+ cats had been.. hopefully it means
it's working and/or they are immune.
I will exercise cauti
I know some of you work with feral cat communities and wanted to pass this
on.
I thought this story was pretty great. They call it cat rehab. A surprising
and unexpected way to deal with a feral cats killing actual endangered
species.
Check it out!

To everyone who has lost a little furry friend:
Beyond The Rainbow
As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternit
ccept its awful gaps.
We still would have it no other way"

Sherry, so sorry to read that Beau has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He sounds
like a very special fella. The only thing that helps me is knowing our Angels
are now happily romping in the green meadows chasing butterflies.
I'll light a candle for him tonight.

I am sorry, this is so OT, but I recall there may be some Texas rescue

Thank you!

I'm so sorry you lost Beau. There have been an awful lot of
losses on all my yahoo cat groups including my own 17 year old
cat who died on June 15th. I know how sad you feel, but grief
is the price we pay for love.
