One of my positive kittens Terence has started looking/feeling a little
skinny and his usually short sleek fur has a more raggedy look to it. I

I agree with Lee. A few spoonfuls of pate are not enough if she has stopped
eating. She should probably be getting about 1 can per day. Hills AD is
very soft, I don't even mix it up with water. Ask the vet to give you some
syringes that arent too narrow of an opening. I use the 10mL (aka 10cc)

Has he been dewormed? If a stool sample turns up negative, consider trying
FortiFlora. Or maybe that's the pro-biotic you mentioned. My 4 month old
positive kittens recently went through a bout of diarrhea (where no
parasites showed on a fecal float) that cleared up with FortiFlora.

One of my vets (I'm in the US) did a PCR test, but another always does IFA
(for kittens who test positive on snap ELISA) and that seems to be more
common. I asked my vet why she chose the PCR test and she said it was more
accurate. PCR results seemed to take longer than the IFA but I've
