I realized the other day that I still have a bottle of Immunoregulin that I
don't need anymore. I'd hate to just throw it out. It's the jumbo size, so
someone with lots of cats like Hideyo or Sally might be a good candidate. Only
thing is that it requires IV injection. My vet charged $10 per IV,

Well Brissle is doing about the same. She has

Nina,
That's great news that Grace checked out okay! I know you must have been
worried. It's funny, sometimes Brissle gets stressed out going to the vet.
While other times, she just sits there and purrs. That doesn't happen at the
internist's though. She really hates going there and starts
Thanks for the suggestion Michelle. Hopefully, it won't come down to that. I'm

Okay I'm a little relieved. It turns out that it was depomedrol that Brissle
was given. I read it takes about 3 days to take effect. Yesterday was a little
scary. I made the liver shake and gave some to Brissle yesterday. I think that
may have stimulated her to eat a little. This morning, she ate
Thanks Michelle. That's what I'm hoping for (that the depo will work). The
next couple of days could be tedious. Now that I think about it, I think 3
days was for humans. As far as telling my internist to contact your
oncologist, if I did that at this point, it would be strictly an ego thing.
And
We're saying a prayer for you guys. Hopefully the list is right and it's just

Nina/Michelle,
How do your vets place orders? I know it's thru Abbeyvet. Just not sure about

I'm trying to get it. I'll be going to my regular vet in a few minutes. Maybe

Thanks Michelle. You've enlightened me once again! I was at my regular vet's
last night to give Brissle an Immunoregulin injection and we talked about
using Epogen. He didn't have any on hand. So he was going to order some today.
The dexamethasone and depomedrol combo sounds like a good idea too.
Thanks so much Sally for the insightful reply! I have been thinking this over
the past couple of days and now I think I'm leaning towards taking the
holistic approach and letting nature take it's course. I just have to wonder
if chemo or steroids could ever make Brissle a happy cat again. Can

Well I'm at the end of my bag of Science Diet CD/S.
So it's time to buy more food. Here's my dilemma. Brissle is my FeLV+ female.
Her FeLV- brother Squermie has urine crystal issues. They are both 8 years old.
Squermie was about 2 when he had his urine crystals episode. It was really bad.
Belinda, you're right. Educating people on dealing with animals is very
