My vet said I can mix as long as the other cats are up to date On their FELV
vaccinations and I have mixed them for 4 years now, no problems. As long as
they don't have fights that involve biting. My guys hiss and slap, but no
biting.

If the IFA & Elisa tests are both positive there is no reason to retest. The
cat is infected. The cost you mention is in line with what I've paid.
You may want to search the archives on "mixing". Many on this list,including
me, mix their positives & negatives.
