Thanks, I didn't know that, about the licking. I've also used Zantac
for my CRF kitties, about 1/4 tablet.

Some people use zantac if their kitties don't tolerate the pepcid,
so that is OK too.

I have a cat that does this kind of licking thing and always has. She is not
FELV pos, so it may not be related unless it is a new symptom.

pepcid AC will help with that, CRF kitties commonly have this and get
pepcid AC (regular strength only, not maximum strength). They usually
start out with a 1/4 pill every other day and work up to a daily does if
that isn't
Does anyone know if this is fungal infection? My cat after eating seems to be
licking his mouth as if he has a bad taste and swollows alot and seems to have
a gassy stomach, he`s lost weight and if I try to add more food his symptoms
gets worse with a high fever. What are the tests for fungal
that is what Snuggles did just before he passed. he had kidney failure. just
