Hi, My Bandy has been spiking a temp now since last June...all the way up to 106..at first we were giving him dex injections weekly, but now I give him 1/2 of a .75mg dex pill and the temp will go down in a matter of 3 to 6 hrs..The dex injections were too strong and could cause diabetes so we dec
What is the difference between ImmunoRegulin and Interferon- I'm assuming they are not the same? I am awaiting a consultation with a vet who does Interferon (I've learned a lot about Interferon from all of you- thanks!), but ImmunoRegulin is new to me...wendy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Jen,Equist
Jen,
Equistim is the same thing as ImmunoRegulin; Equistim
is the generic. If your vet can't get it, you can
order it online and have it shipped fast for about $50
including shipping (it might be less; I can't
remember). I ordered Cricket's through Revival Animal
Health.

Please don't give up hope on Allie. Smokey's fevers
got as high as 107. Ask your vet about the equistim.
So far it really has helped Smokey to not get anymore
fevers. I was having to take him to the vet every 2
to 3 days for a fever. Now I just give him the
equistim injections at home.

I am sorry Allie is having such a hard time. My cat
Smokey was having these fevers every 2 to 3 days. I
changed vets and the new vet is having me give Smokey
injections of equistim twice a week. I know so far
for Smokey he hasn't had anymore fevers since. I do
give them to him subq. I hope All
Jen,
Don't give up hope! This virus is as unpredictable as
it is heartbreaking, and your kitty could turn around
in no time at all. It's ok to prepare for the worst,
but don't expect it. I will definitely keep Allie in
my prayers. Just love her as much as you can, spoil
her rotten, and also, t

Jennifer,
I'm sorry you and Allie are having such a hard time. I know there have
been several cats that seemed to benefit from IR, it may be worth a try
at this point. Someone remind me, did Kerry R use this for her kitty
with the spiking temps? When I first heard about IR, I had heard that

Please try Immuno-Regulin (see articles on www.felineleukemia.org). Smokey
on this list went through the same thing and completely stopped getting fevers
once he started getting Immuno-regulin shots. I believe he gets them sub-q at
home now.
