One of the vets here told someone with an FELV cat, that she could use interferon alpha as an injection. He didn't mention low dose ORAL interferon alpha. It's been my understanding that the interferon was absorbed in the back of the throat. Has anyone used interferon alpha as an injecti

Hi Gloria, I would be very interested in knowing what dosage that vet uses for an injection. Interferon comes in little vial with the lowest dose in a vial being one million units and is usually 3 million units. These vials are meant to be one injection for a human, but the oral dose for cat
