Matt, I know Roughy doesn't like the vet, but you may need to get his chest x-rayed. Our Smoosh began having very labored breathing (and it happened very quickly) and when we took her in, x rays showed a massive amount of fluid had collected in her chest cavity; it was in essence smothering her
