O.k.. Then, opt for natural, bio degradable cleaning products that will do
the same thing, while keeping your cats safe.

The Interferon wouldn’t have caused red cell or hematocrit changes directly.
The idea of the interferon is to boost the cat’s immune system to fight the
FeLV virus. If successful, this would result in an improvement in the
haematology results, since the poor results are being caused by

I recommend that you have the vet surgically remove the eye. You would be
surprised at how quickly a cat will adjust to this, and the pain will stop
immediately. I had this experience with one of my cats, who also had severe
uveitis when I got her, and there was just nothing that
And about essential oils-the purpose of using oils and fats is to give them
to you cat until they gain weight- they are not ment to be used long term.

Try researching natural suppliments or remedies on line. Also, have you
considered seeing a holistic vetnerian? I have not been to one, but i have
read and heard about them in the internet. Try also using curcumin and any
food/vitamin supplyment that might help with inflamation. Try to keep your
P.s.: Also, try garlic and apple cider viniger. Make sure you cook the
garlic though. These products help kill pathogens/antibacterial and help
reduce inflamation.

I learned that garlic and onions can destroy red cells in cats. The problem
with cats is that they have a very different liver than humans and dogs, so
things that aren’t poisonous to humans and dogs (and rats, and guinea pigs,
etc.) are poisonous to cats.
I wouldn’t use garlic – either
Just a caveat on cleaning - do not use lysol or pine-sol - they contain phenol which can be toxic to cats & birds.
Also, stay away from essential oils for cat & birds.

If there were blood clots, then that takes the platelets out of the blood.
Clots are made up of platelets, so the platelets are no longer "loose" and the
machine can therefore not detect the platelets.

I never had expected the Interferon to cause red cell or hematocrit changes. Where can I find information about that?
Thanks,

My 7.5 Y/O cat tested positive (ELISA) for Felv about a month ago. She had
yeast ear infections that would not go away and had lost weight so I had her
tested to see if there was a problem with her immune system and blood workup.
When my vet told me that she tested positive of FELV, she said
