My condolences on the loss of your sweet Lydia, Anndrea. Sounds like you
did the best you could for her. I believe, like you, that we may meet our
furry friends again "in the next life."

I'm so sorry you lost Lydia, but you made the right decision about
having her PTS. I also stay with my kitties when they are PTS
and it is such a gentle death, so much kinder than letting them
suffer. I wish we had the same choice when it's our time to die.
I also believe I'll see my cats again
I was saddened to read that Lydia as crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We love them,
care for them and in the end let them go. You did everything you could for
her. She is now happily romping in the green meadows chasing butterflies with
all our angels.
